Tim Stephens

Biography

Tim Stephens is a Senior Education Developer and specialist in Curriculum, at University of the Arts London, a Writer and Photographic Artist. He has 40 years’ experience in Education and the Arts; with learners, artists, lecturers and organisations and his areas of expertise are: art and writing practices, embodied cognition (4EA), nonrepresentational photography, and he writes at the intersection of philosophy and literature on embodiment and identity. He devised meditative enquiry as a research method for individual and group application. He has worked as a consultant, advisor and public art project manager, with significant expertise in group facilitation. His work impacts on educational policy and practice, including institutional frameworks for educational ethics, and new theories and practices of educational, organisational and social change.
