Dr Nathaniel Weiner

Biography

Nathaniel Weiner is a senior lecturer in Cultural Studies at Central St. Martins. He has an interdisciplinary background in history, media & communications and sociology. Before relocating to the United Kingdom he taught communication studies and sociology at a number of institutions in the Greater Toronto Area. His research interests include advertising, consumer culture, cultural industries, Instagram, menswear, online communities and subcultures. He has published in a number of journals including Men & Masculinities, Punk & Post-Punk and the The Journal of European Cultural Studies.
