Matthew Phull

Biography

As a Senior Lecturer at Central Saint Martins based within the Academic Support team, I coordinate Academic Support for the Curation, Cultural Enterprise and Spatial Practices programmes.

I also co-lead unit 2 for the MRes Art programme which focuses on methods and methodologies across all three pathways of the course: Theory & Philosophy, Moving Image, and Exhibition Studies.

My disciplinary background is in critical theory, philosophy and social & cultural thought which informs my research and teaching practice at UAL. My current research focuses on how the epistemic radicalism of the traditions of critique within theory and philosophy can inform critical, experimental, and transdisciplinary approaches to arts-based knowledge creation and pedagogical practice.
