Biography

Marianna Ferro is a lecturer in Finance and Economics at the Fashion Business School, London College of Fashion, UAL, where she teaches across MBA, BSc, MSc and Executive programmes. A finance professional and educator, she focuses on investment, impact investment, business growth and structuring, and sustainable innovation and is the founder of ventures in fashion technology and sustainability.
Before moving into higher education, Marianna worked in investment banking and institutional investment, with a particular interest in international development and impact investment. Her research interests span institutional investment in creative industries, supply chain value distribution, and financial modelling as a teaching tool.
Marianna holds a BSc and an MSc in Business Administration and Finance from Università Commerciale Bocconi, Milan, and an MSc in Global History and Economic Development from the London School of Economics and she studied International Affairs through a joint LSE-PKU programme in Beijing.
