Lucy Jane MacAllister Dukes

Biography

Lucy (she/her) is a practice-based PhD student at the Living Systems Lab, Central Saint Martins. She collaborates across disciplines (art/ecology/philosophy) and species (bryophyte/human) to co-create more-than-human knowledges.


My research focuses on 'Mossibilities', developing more-than-human knowledges with mosses through transdisciplinary collaborative art practice. My supervisors are Dr. Heather Barnett (DoS) and Dr. Barbara Smith.


Lucy has experience running workshops in the GrowLab on MA Art & Science at Central Saint Martins (UAL) and has been a repeat Special Lecturer on the Embodied Interaction course at Zurich Univeristy of the Arts (ZHdK).
