Biography

My research inhabits and observes the aesthetics and minutiae of institutional spaces.

As a practicing artist, I make, write and produce narratives around stillness and change, honouring the people who live or work in those spaces as things pass. My work exists between the historical, the archival and the fictional, noticing the tender spaces between the viewer and the viewed, the reciter and the listener, an object and a subject. What might be gained by these interactions?

I am more interested in qualities of attention than in quantity. My doctoral research, completed at Chelsea College of Art in 2023, examined my artist’s residency at the British School at Athens. The thesis spans my surroundings and encounters, living and working within the Greek scholarly archaeological community, and my subsequent research in Greece during the COVID-19 lockdowns in London and Athens.

I am currently developing collaborative work with Nene Park Trust and CHEAD, with the aim of creating new partnerships in 2027.
