Biography

My academic research interests centre disability, neurodivergence, and immersive storytelling. My fully funded practice-based PhD at UAL (LCC and the Creative Computing Institute) focuses on the design of responsive narrative environments for neurodivergent audiences, using fNIRS neuroimaging data to modulate personalised experiences. My research is rooted in my own lived experience as a disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent person, and a belief that technology should be guided by principles of care and equity rather than extraction and exploitation. The PhD builds on my design research at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where I completed an MArch in Design for Performance and Interaction.
