Liz Bunting

Biography

Liz is an educational developer situated in the Teaching, Learning & Employability Exchange, and the academic enhancement lead at London College of Fashion. She supports colleagues in creating equitable experiences and outcomes for students, aiming is to nurture socially-just educational communities where all staff and students thrive.

Liz leads a programme of work in Fostering Belonging and Compassionate Pedagogies, and co-publishes a range of open-access teaching and learning resources. These include the website 'Belonging Through Compassion', a series of belonging podcasts and the AEM Toolbox, a set of practical resources which draw on sector research and local practice to share enhancement approaches for student success.

Liz has worked as an educator in art and design higher education since 2014, enriched by 15 years experience as a creative strategist in the UK advertising industry. Her research explores ecologies of belonging in Higher Education, entangled within relational, compassionate and trauma informed practices.
