Kieron Devlin is Academic Support Lecturer and liaison for the Fashion Business School. He is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Mental Health First Aider with decades of varied experience in teaching from TESOL. His publication in Spark Academic Journal was on the topic of ‘Authorial Uses of ‘I’’ (2016). He has two Masters Degrees and has a strong interest in creative and holistic approaches to learning. These are student-centred participatory practices in group and one to one situations that create innovative resources and activities towards that goal. Also he has research interests in metacognition, student and staff well-being, the psychology of learning, reflection writing, archetypes, embodied writing practices and contemplative pedagogy. He sits on the Staff and student Well Being committee and the LGBTQ staff network. He will be conducting a ‘Yoga and Writing’ workshop on December 10th, 2019 at Central St Martin’s.
