Biography
I am a creative practitioner and educator working across spatial design, graphic media, textiles and food. My interdisciplinary practice examines how design can shape meaningful experiences through material exploration, making and participation.I have taught at the University of the Arts London since 2013 across spatial design, graphic media and pre-degree programmes. I previously led the HND Interior Design and Architecture programme in Vietnam and continue to contribute to teaching on international programmes in China. My teaching encourages experimentation, critical enquiry and collaborative approaches to design practice.
Alongside my academic practice, I work as an independent designer and textile artist, collaborating with cultural organisations, commercial clients and private commissions. Before focusing on education, I worked across hospitality, residential and experiential design for clients including Amazon, ITV, Hulu, Nando's and Las Iguanas. My professional background spans interior, experiential and communication design, while my current practice explores the role of materiality, craft and sustainability in dialogue with contemporary digital media.
