Biography

Filmmaker, technologist, and Specialist Technician at London College of Communication (UAL). 25+ years in cinematography, drama directing, VFX and animation across Channel 4, BBC, UK Film Council and independent production (MA Directing Fiction, NFTS). Gestalt therapy practitioner training (2023–2025). Currently developing practice-based research at the intersection of human-AI dialogue, computational analysis, and phenomenological perception. Core research question: what creates contactful moments versus energy loss in dialogue? Building computational instruments that apply Gestalt contact theory to the analysis of dialogue quality — technology that expands human awareness rather than replacing human judgement.
