Julia Schauerman

Biography

Julia Schauerman is an electroacoustic composer, sound designer and community artist.

Schauerman's interests include composing ecologically themed works and exploring the use of electroacoustic techniques within community arts practice. Her work has been presented internationally, including Mexico, Canada, Italy and Chile.





Collaboration is central to Schauerman's practice and includes co-designing soundscapes with digital art group Genetic Moo for their immersive digital ecosystem exhibitions.
