Biography

Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer and Knowledge Exchange Leader on the UAL Foundation Diploma Course, having been the Curriculum Leader in Fashion & Textiles for Foundation for 11 years.

I graduated from Central Saint Martins with an MA in Fashion (Print) and I have taught Fashion, Textiles and Fashion Communication at a number of academic institutions for over 2 decades and at CSM for 19 years.

I am a freelance fashion stylist, art director, model casting director and fashion consultant. As a fashion stylist and art director I work for both editorial and advertising clients. Clients include Lacoste, Preen, Fred Perry & Pringle of Scotland.
I have worked with various designers on their shows for London Fashion Week including backstage production and in the role of a Casting Director for: Alexander McQueen, Aquascutum, Ann Sofie Back, Ghost, Giorgio Armani, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Sophia Kokosalaki and Saint Laurent.


I have contributed as a judge on fashion show panels including twice for 'Lichting', Amsterdam.

I deliver a bespoke 1 month course for Global Styling teams and Visual Merchndising teams for Chanel in Paris for the past 5 years, covering topics such as introduction to Colour Theory, Fashion Styling, Creative Direction, how to use Research and Story Telling through fashion and photography.

I bring industry insight, creative leadership, and a deep commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
