Biography

Jesús Felipe Querol is an industrial designer, educator and Acting Course Leader for MA Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. His work focuses on industrial design education, curriculum development and the evolving role of the discipline, with a growing emphasis on partnerships and knowledge exchange as a means of connecting academic practice with industry, institutions and wider society.

At Central Saint Martins, Jesús leads and contributes to course development, teaching and curriculum design across MA Industrial Design. His work explores how industrial design education can support critical enquiry, experimentation, professional agency and engagement with changing social, ecological and economic contexts.

Alongside this, he develops external collaborations that bring professional expertise, situated knowledge and real-world contexts into education while creating opportunities for reciprocal exchange beyond the university. Increasingly, this work sits at the intersection of curriculum, partnership and knowledge exchange, using collaborative projects to connect academic enquiry with professional practice and public impact.

Jesús also co-directs Emma Lacey Limited and has experience across design, manufacturing, enterprise and business development. He has nearly two decades of experience in higher education and has worked internationally across academic, industrial and cultural contexts.
