Jane Shepard

Biography

Dr Jane Shepard has held a number of roles in Higher Education Institutions supporting researchers, research projects; impact development and REF 2021 planning and delivery. She was responsible for coordinating and delivering REF2021 Impact Case Studies, Environment Statements, and researcher development training across Goldsmiths, University of London and leading on initiatives as part of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers and European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research scheme. Jane joined University of Arts, London in 2022 and is currently Head of Research and Knowledge Exchange Staff Development, leading training and capacity building programmes for staff engaged in research and knowledge exchange.

In 2025, the KE Staff Development Programme that Jane leads on at UAL won a Knowledge Exchange UK award for Enhancing KE Culture.
