In 2016 Lloyd was the recipient of the Bryan Robertson Trust Award, and in 2011 she was nominated for the Turner Prize. My work centres on film and video while engaging with sculpture, painting and installation. Video, together with the use of spatial devices like hanging curtains and tie-dyed textiles, are installed in brightly lit spaces and have a direct relationship to the architecture of the space. The videos generally defy a sense of narrative.
