Biography
Hattie Crowther is a designer, creative director and Lecturer in Fashion Sportswear at London College of Fashion, where she leads the second year of BA Fashion Sportswear.Her work looks at football shirts as objects connected to identity, memory, politics and fan culture. Through her independent label, HATTIE CROWTHER, she creates collections, custom pieces and public projects that question who sportswear is made for and what it can represent.
Recent projects include a collection and public activation for Hypebeast Cup New York, the PUMA × Hattie Crowther Design Lab and the redesign of Camden Town WFC’s kit and crest with Adobe and VERSUS. Her work has been exhibited at OOF Gallery, and she has contributed to talks and public programmes at Tate Britain, VERSUS, Pinterest and Known Source.
Alongside her independent practice, Hattie develops industry projects for students, connecting their university work with brands, cultural organisations and local communities.
