Hattie Crowther

Biography

Hattie Crowther is a Lecturer in Fashion Sportswear and Second Year Lead at London College of Fashion (UAL). A designer, creative director and educator, her practice explores the intersection of fashion, sport and activism, using design as a platform for social commentary and cultural storytelling.
Through her independent label, HATTIE CROWTHER, she develops concept-led projects that reimagine football-inspired apparel through sustainable and experimental approaches. Her work examines inclusivity and identity in contemporary fashion, challenging traditional narratives within sportswear and menswear.
As Second Year Lead, Hattie delivers industry-led briefs and collaborations, connecting students with real-world creative practice and professional experience. She has collaborated with global brands including Nike, Puma and Adobe, with her designs and collections exhibited internationally.
Her research interests include sustainable methodologies, material experimentation and the role of sport as a site for design activism.
