Emma Lacey

Biography

Emma is an educator with over 20 years experience working in art, design and crafts sectors. Passionate about knowledge exchange and differentiated and accessible pedagogies she uses experience from working in both FE and HE sectors to inform a dynamic curriculum which is further enhanced by her own professional practice in craft and design: Emma also runs a busy and successful ceramic design practice making and selling tactile ceramic tableware through high-end retailers and galleries such as Fortnum & Mason, Liberty, The Conran Shop, CAA and the Contemporary Ceramics Centre as well as to private clients and to commission in hospitality sectors. She is a selected member of the Craft Potters Association and Contemporary Applied Arts and has recently developed new work for The William Morris Gallery shop.
