David Reason

Biography

David is a visual artist, spatial designer, and educator with a background in architecture. He uses game engines, new media and 3D-printing to create immersive experiences, cinematics, virtual spaces and physical objects for the purpose of eco-storytelling and worldbuilding. The technological singularity theory, speculative fiction and climate change are prevalent topics explored in his work. His solo and collaborative works have been showcased at institutions including Somerset House, Gossamer Fog, Autotelic Foundation, Kunsthalle Wien and KW Institute for Contemporary Art. His practice, "David Reason Studio", has been in residence at Makerversity in Somerset House since 2022.
