Crimson is a highly skilled multi-disciplinary practice based designer with an extensive portfolio in Fashion Design, Textile Design and Higher Education.
Fashion and Textile Design
Crimson has received numerous awards for her design work in fashion and textiles including, first prize for outstanding use of colour from the Society of Dyers, the highly aclaimed Althea McNish Colour Prize and Texprint 2016. Crimson’s design work has been featured in various publications including Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Hunger and Vogue.
In industry Crimson has had the opportunity to work alongside and gain valuable experience with designers such as John Galliano, Diane von Furstenberg, Wes Gordon and Elisa Palomino and for companies such as Guy Laroche, Thomas Pink, Monsoon and Lululemon.
Education
In education Crimson has built a portfolio of experience across Higher Education, Further Education, International teaching and Museum and Gallery collaboration.
Crimson collaborates frequently with University of Oxford on developing bespoke educational workshops to accompany exhibitions at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
At London College of Fashion Crimson is a Senior Lecuturer engaged with all aspects of curriculum design, development and delivery, assessment and research. She has a specialist focus on overseeing the student journey and pastoral care.
Crimson's research is pedagogically driven. She is currently a member of the LCF Belonging Research collective and has developed collaborations and interventions with UAL Academic Support and UAL Language during her time at LCF.
