Biography

Claudine Rousseau is Dean of School of Design and Technology, London College of Fashion.


Viewing the school as a space for creative exploration that combines traditional craft and new technologies in fashion, she works closely with the school team to shape courses and content that prepare students to make a positive contribution to the future of fashion.



Prior to this role she was Head of Atelier at Rapha Racing, where she set up a team to create products for optimum on bike fit for performance.


With a background in design and creative pattern cutting, her career spans over 30 years with an integration of high fashion, sportswear and education. She has worked with brands including Christopher Raeburn, PUMA, Hussein Chalayan, Adidas, Levi’s and Soar Running.



Her previous teaching roles include Course Leader for BA (Hons) Fashion Sportswear and Programme Director for Product at London College of Fashion.



Describing herself as a maker, she is particularly interested in the power of human connection through skills sharing.
