Cindy Lin

Biography

Cindy Lin is a Taiwanese American lens-based artist and researcher whose practice centers on long-form photographic projects rooted in documentary and still life traditions. Her work employs a range of techniques, from traditional studio photography to archival imagery, sewing, and collage, and most recently, machine learning and creative computing methods. Her projects explore shifting identities and their socio-economic impacts, with a particular focus on themes of immigration and gender in contemporary society.

Cindy is currently an Associate Lecturer at the Creative Computing Institute.
