Dr Alix Hanson

Biography

I am responsible for academic decision-making in Home recruitment for undergraduate courses, school-wide.


I have held a variety of positions within Business schools. In my previous role, I was Deputy Director of Student Engagement and Success.


I have served in various capacities within Higher Education in the UK and in the Middle East; and I have a particular affinity with the Gulf region.


My PhD thesis is entitled:

Visual testimonies for communal truth-telling: the placemaking practices of Black female undergraduates in a Historically White Institution (HWI).
