Biography

Aakash is a research-active professional at the University of the Arts London, with a background in Computer Science and a research focus on artificial intelligence. His work aims to develop transparent and trustworthy AI systems that address global challenges in information integrity and promote the responsible, transparent use of advanced AI systems.

Alongside his core responsibilities within Professional Services. Aakash pursues a well-established research practice with departmental endorsement to dedicate part of his role to scholarly and research activity. He publishes and presents his work, contributes to peer review, and engages with broader academic discourse.

He is a member of UAL’s Academic Board, the senior body overseeing the University’s academic direction, standards and strategic priorities, Aakash contributes to shaping institutional policy and supporting a vibrant, innovative research culture. His position on the Board reflects both his early-career achievements and his commitment to strengthening UAL’s academic environment.

Aakash has authored multiple research papers spanning peer-reviewed publications, conference proceedings and pre-prints, and serves as a reviewer for AI and computing conferences, further contributing to the advancement of his field.
