Biography
Honorary Fellow
Shantell Martin is a multidisciplinary artist, public speaker, intuitive philosopher and cultural facilitator, who works across fashion, dance and academia.
A former student at both Camberwell College of Arts and Central Saint Martins, Shantell has also worked as an adjunct professor at MIT Media Lab and NYU's Tisch, where she worked with her students to push the boundaries of storytelling, visual art and technology.
She has presented solo shows at some of the most renowned art institutions, including the Denver Art Museum, 92Y Gallery, the iconic Buffalo AKG Art Museum and the New Britain Museum of Contemporary Art. She’s also collaborated with the prestigious New York City Ballet and the Boston Ballet, as well as legendary artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and acclaimed designer Kelly Wearstler.
