Katie Greenyer is Creative Talent & Legacy Director for the Pentland Group, where she leads global talent strategy and creative heritage.
She began her career at the iconic streetwear brand Red or Dead, developing textiles, products and campaigns for labels including Speedo, Canterbury, Berghaus, Ellesse, and Lacoste, later becoming Creative Director.
In 2002, Katie founded Pentland’s apprenticeship scheme, Design Pool, which has launched the careers of over 200 creatives globally. Today, she leads talent strategy across Pentland’s brands, championing diversity, mobility and future skills.
She has also played a key role in shaping Pentland’s offices and culture, leading the design of its London headquarters and global workplace strategy across cities including Hong Kong, Paris and New York. Her work has been recognised with multiple industry awards. Alongside this, Katie leads Pentland’s global archiving and digitisation project, preserving the company’s cultural and social legacy since 1932.
A driving force for design education and social mobility, Katie works across industry and academia to inspire creative careers. She is past World President of the Textile Institute, Chair of Judges for the Cordwainers Footwear Awards, Trustee of The National Saturday Club and TEX+, and an Honorary Fellow of Plymouth University.
Her passion for design, storytelling and people, and her ability to nurture talent, continue to shape the next generation of creatives.
