In 2021 we launched our new Knowledge Exchange (KE) Strategy – marking a new milestone for this ever-growing area within UAL.

With social justice and sustainability as fundamental values embedded across our activities with external partners, this new strategy reframed KE at UAL as a form of social entrepreneurship which promotes the value of creativity to deliver positive change in society, the economy and the environment.

The Strategy commits us to inspiring and facilitating positive change through high-quality community and public engagement. As part of this process, we are undertaking a review of how we can improve the support we provide for public engagement. We have commissioned the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement to lead this review.

NCCPE define community engagement to encompass the many and varied ways university staff and students engage with others outside the institution.

To inform the review, they are seeking the views of staff and students across the University. This survey will take around 15 minutes to complete and will provide crucial intelligence to inform the action plan we will develop as a result of the review.

The survey will close on Friday 16 December.

Complete the survey.
