Are you a University of the Arts London (UAL) graduate working in a leadership role outside of the creative sector? We’ve got a number of volunteering opportunities for you to share how your UAL creative education is contributing to your work in leadership and management.
UAL is collaborating with Sheffield Howarth, a City Recruiter, on a series of events titled ‘The Power of Creativity’, which will explore the importance of creativity outside of the creative sector. This is a great opportunity for you to reach a global audience, as the series will be shared across both UAL and Sheffield Howarth sites.
Depending on what works for you, there are two different ways to get involved:
- as part of a panel discussion
- take part in a written interview
You can find out more about each of these volunteering opportunities below.
Panel discussion:
We’re looking for two graduates to volunteer as part of a panel discussion, where the topic will be 'diversity of thought'. The panel will be exploring the creative case for bringing a diverse range of thought processes and perspectives into an organisation.
Date of the panel discussion: Thursday 11 February at 3pm (GMT)
Time commitment: 1 hour, plus a 30-minute tech test beforehand
Written interview:
We are also looking for two or three alumni who would be willing to be interviewed for a written piece on how they draw upon their creativity in their current roles. Again, these interviews would be conducted on a voluntary basis. Sheffield Howarth has commissioned a copywriter for the written pieces.
Dates for the interviews: throughout February
Time commitment: 45 minutes on the phone/teams
