We want to say a massive thank you to Katia Potapova, who, after nearly 4 years, is stepping down from hosting the University of the Arts London (UAL) Enterprising Alumni Network’s monthly networking drinks.
Having come to us in 2022 with an idea for a regular meet-up for members of the Enterprising Alumni Network, Katia has organised and hosted the monthly meet-up ever since.
Katia has done so much to bring creative graduates together. She has provided a space where people felt comfortable to share ideas and projects, often generating new collaborations in the process.
A graduate from BA (Hons) Interior and Spatial Design, 2009, Chelsea College of Arts, UAL, Katia now leads her own studio, Yellow Brick, where she demystifies the belief that good interior design is about expensive furniture.
Katia - thank you so much for your time, dedication, and all the incredible work you’ve done—your contribution has truly made a difference.
We also want to take this chance to re-introduce the new President of the Enterprising Alumni Network, Victoria Reis.
Victoria joined the network in 2021, and she says that “attending events to meet people on similar journeys all helped me not feel alone while running a studio and becoming a creative entrepreneur.”
Volunteering opportunities
The free networking drinks are an opportunity to hear from alumni who are using their entrepreneurial and creative skills to build a better world, find sustainable solutions and bring something positive to their community or field.
