LCF filmmaking talent at the BFI

Check out this sneak peek of All Eyes On Me by MA Fashion Media Production alumna Larissa De Filippo

Created by Larissa and co-director Harun Güler, a current student on MA Fashion Photography, the film screened at the BFI’s LGBT film festival, BFI Flare, earlier this year.

Larissa told us about the experience:

My film was screened as a part of the festival named “Body: stories of sex, identity and transformation”. I loved it as it really describes my inspirations. My main interest is fashion as a frame for expressing gender, identity and sexuality.

The film had great success at the BFI’s festival, and was screened three times. Larissa told us more:

It was amazing to see my work screened at one of the most important LGBT film festivals in the country. The size of the screen to start with! And the quality of the audio and video was just amazing!
“All eyes on me – Trans identity through photography” was also screened on the Saturday’s Future Film youth event “The Joy of Short Filmmaking” at BFI Flare. Harun and I were invited to come and talk about our film and career expectations to a group of aspiring young filmmakers. That was the first Q & A of my life!
