LCF alumni scoop prizes at the British Fashion Awards

Nicholas Kirkwood, British Fashion Award’s Accessories Designer of the year and alumnus of BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Innovation 2001, at an LCF Inside the Industry event.

A trio of LCF alumni have been recognised in the British Fashion Awards.

Sophia Webster, BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Innovation 2008, won Emerging Accessories Designer 2013.

Meanwhile, Accessories Designer of the year went to Nicholas Kirkwood, BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Innovation 2001, who recently visited LCF as part of the college’s Inside the Industry series.

JW Anderson, BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Menswear 2005, won the New Establishment 2013 prize, announcing him as a designer that is “taking the industry by storm”.
