On Wednesday 30 September, UAL alumni hosted The Regenerative Exchange, an evening of thoughtful conversation on the themes of IMAGINE, DESIGN, IMPLEMENT, ENGINEER, and ADOPT, at Anomalous Space London.
With the participation of UAL alumni volunteers and creatives:
- Zillah Bosworth Coleman, interdisciplinary artist, poet, playwright and filmmaker.
- Ally Thompson, Footwear Sustainability Consultant at The Conscious Scout.
- Zahir Thebault, Doctoral Researcher in Materials Engineering at Imperial College London.
- Nina Skarra, fashion designer and founder of IDNTFY, a fashion-tech platform using 3D body scanning, fit intelligence and AI-powered experiences to help people make more confident purchasing decisions, reduce returns and keep what they buy.
- Katie Kubrak, Senior CMF Designer, has worked on and led projects for Burberry, Philips, BASF, Apple, and others.
We brought together people who share a commitment to making better, more mindful design choices in everything they do.
Organised by the UAL Sustainability Alumni Network, the event connected alumni, students, and creative professionals to explore how sustainability is being applied in real-world contexts.
