Last month, the Enterprising Alumni Network and Great Bowery co-hosted an expert led panel discussion about maintaining a creative brand as an artist or creator.
On Tuesday 26 March, over 200 graduates gathered at Central Saint Martins for an evening of networking, followed by a welcome from Allan Atlee, Dean of Academic Strategy, CSM.
The evening culminated in an enlightening panel discussion. Our panellists were award-winning founder, writer, speaker and creative consultant, and CSM graduate, Sharmadean Reid MBE; founder and creative director of Beauty Papers, and London College of Fashion graduate, Maxine Leonard; Samuel Ade, founder of online store and platform Ilana and CSM graduate; and Daniel Tyson, Director of Great Bowery Incubator.
The panel was moderated by Gabby Shiner-Hill, President of the Enterprising Alumni Association.
One piece of advice that Sharmadean gave to the audience was about setting yourself parameters, to provide a reference point for your brand.
UAL and Great Bowery partnership
This was the first London- based event in the transatlantic partnership. This unique relationship will see the University working in partnership with the acclaimed representation agency to facilitate introductions with industry leaders, creative brands, and innovators.
