Get Involved in UAL’s Creative Enterprise Week 2013!

Helping students, graduates and staff progress in their creative careers, the Creative Enterprise Week is running an exciting programme of talks and event workshops across CCW next week. Designed to answer all your questions as well as provide expert advice, the events are specially tailored to help you climb the ladder of the competitive creative world.

Chelsea will be hosting three events:

18th November – Berlin Calling: take part in a creative exchange.

18th November – Say yes to self-employment: start up with confidence.

20th November – Start-up 3: Know your numbers

In other exciting news, the Creative Enterprise Awards 2013 shortlist has been announced and this year five Chelsea graduates have been selected.

For the Digital Award, Graphic Design Communication graduate Steven Williams has been shortlisted for his innovative music chart website Drop.

Matthew Jacques, Textile and Design graduate, impressed the judges for the Freelance award with his playful and imaginative designs.

Caracal, an accessories business set up by Kathryn Anne Lewis, Textile Design MA graduate, has been shortlisted for the International Award.

Designer duo Tida and Lisa Finch (Chelsea College Textile Design / LCC Graphic & Media Design) have been shortlisted for the New Business Award for their quirky and cross-cultural Finchittida Finch accessories and designs.

All five shortlisted have shown how great ideas and hard work are at the centre to any successful creative career. Make sure you take part in Creative Enterprise 2013, aiming to fully realise your full potential!
