Catwalk shows are usually indoors however last weekend proved that not only an outdoor setting but even cat-walking on water is humanly possible!
Chelsea BA Textile Design 2013 graduates Sophie Hurley-Walker, Eve Johnson, Jen Cheema, Rosie Chandler, Natasha Hulse, Emily Boxall and Matt Jacques showed their creations with Storm models walking on water over the beautiful lake at Henham Park, Suffolk where Latitude Music and Arts festival takes place annually.
It’s not every day you see a fashion show on a lake so as you can imagine the banks of the lake and indeed bridge were jam-packed with excited spectators. The show was a successful collaboration between Chelsea College of Art & Design, Central Saint Martin’s and London College of Fashion graduates with Storm models, presented by Jamie Laing & Bip Ling.
Exciting times for these hard working graduates and we envisage that their future will become even brighter in years to come! If you are interested in studying BA Textile Design with us at Chelsea College of Art & Design please visit our website in August for details of our next Open Days.
