The University holds an annual Education Conference, open to all staff who teach or support student learning. The event provides an opportunity to share and discuss learning and teaching practice at UAL, as well as to meet and network with colleagues from across the Colleges.

The annual UAL Education Conference returns this year as the Creative Education Festival. Held at UAL School of Pre-degree Studies, Lime Grove, the Festival creates space to reflect on the challenges facing creative education, explore new possibilities for practice, and connect across disciplines, roles and institutions. The programme offers a full day of exchange, including talks, workshops, discussions and informal activity across the Lime Grove campus.
This year, we welcome external guests to join us in responding to shared challenges and imagining new possibilities as a creative education community.
Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances the event had to be postponed from the summer term and has been rescheduled to Thursday 17 December 2026. While we hope to retain as much of the originally scheduled programme as possible, this is subject to change. The full revised programme will be live later in the autumn term.
