The University holds an annual Education Conference, which is open to all staff who teach or support student learning. Join us to share and debate learning and teaching practice at UAL, to meet and network with colleagues from across the Colleges.
In 2022 there were around 100 speakers, including our keynotes, and more than 280 colleagues dropped in to around 2-3 sessions each.

The call for contributions 2023 is now open!
We invite your proposals. Choose from a range of formats, including workshops, presentations, lightning talks, roundtable discussions, posters and more.
All UAL staff can participate. We extend a warm welcome to colleagues in support or non-teaching roles and across all 3 academic career pathways. Likewise, whether you’re new to conference presentations or have given many papers, everyone is welcome.
You are all encouraged to send proposals to share your educational insights, lessons learnt, or your current or future projects.
- Conference dates: Mon 3 and Tues 4 July 2023.
- Read the call for proposals and submit your ideas by Tuesday 2 May (12noon).
- The conference will take place online. There will be a parallel in-person opportunity to meet and network with colleagues.
