Alex Peacock

Alex Peacock is UAL’s Chief Finance Officer. Alex has worked at UAL for more than 25 years, most recently as Director of Finance.

In her role, she oversees UAL’s finance department, which focuses on improving value for money. The department works to improve efficiency, enhance sustainability and help balance budgets, as well as make systems and procedures more effective for our students and staff.

The finance department facilitates the external audit every year, ensuring:

• UAL and its subsidiary companies fulfil our statutory financial reporting and compliance obligations, including our annual Financial Statements
• financial business risks are managed in accordance with best practice
• the quality and safety of data, so that returns to the OfS, HESA and other external bodies are submitted accurately, on a timely basis and in accordance with our reporting requirements.
