University of the Arts London rises to 13th place in Guardian University Guide

University of the Arts London (UAL) has continued its upward trend in the  Guardian University Guide – now ranking at 13th place out of 122 institutions for 2025. In five years, UAL has progressed 32 places in the league.

UAL continues to be the leading art and design specialist institute and ranked particularly highly on metrics such as spend per student and satisfaction with feedback.

The Guardian uses a number of measures of performance, covering all stages of the student life cycle including entry standards, student-staff ratios, continuation, student satisfaction, value-added and career prospects.

UAL is also recognised globally as a leader in art and design education. It has been ranked 2nd in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 for art and design.
