Technical facilities, workshops and shared spaces at our King's Cross and Archway campuses. View course and student access for each space.

    Digital labs

    Digital lab (Adobe Suite, 3D packages, animation, programming languages), Computer Aided Design (CAD) suite, physical and creative computing and mixed reality lab.

    Galleries and collections

    Lethaby Gallery, Window Galleries and the CSM Museum and Study Collection. Showcasing, collecting and learning with work from our community.

    Grow Lab

    A fully-equipped bio-lab where students can work at the intersection of art, science and sustainability using a variety of organisms, materials, chemicals and techniques.

    Lens-based media

    Photography studios and 3D capture and photogrammetry lab. Media studios focusing on film, video and sound with specialist software.

    Library and shared spaces

    Social, functional, learning and wellbeing spaces including CSM library, canteen, loan store, Swap Shop, LVMH lecture theatre, bike storage, The Street, quiet spaces, roof terrace.

    Materials

    Casting workshop, Paint/surface, and specialist ceramics and jewellery workshops for craft and industrial design and production.

    Performance

    Dedicated to performance design, production and practice, spaces include the Studio theatre, black and white labs and costume store.

    Print

    Workshops and support for working with a variety of print processes: letterpress, digital print, printmaking and publications.

    3D Make

    Supporting analogue and digital fabrication processes and model-making: 3D Make for working with metal, wood and plastics, 3D Make digital and the digital fabrication lab.
