Ben Stopher

Ben Stopher is Programme Director of Interactive and Visual Communication at London College of Communication.

For the last ten years Ben has worked as a designer and an academic specialising in interaction design, design for interactive media and interface design. He holds a Masters Degree in European Media from the University of Portsmouth.

As a designer and studio partner at Inventive & Co, Ben has extensive experience as a practitioner and creative consultant in graphic and digital design and has recently worked people ranging from the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London, to designers Paul Smith and Vaughan Oliver. 

As an academic Ben is particularly interested in how global digital culture shapes design culture and is a PhD researcher at the Royal College of Art in this area exploring models of distributed collaborative practice. He was also an organiser of London's first Maker Faire in July 2013.
