    UAL leads national project to promote student belonging through assessment

    The UAL Academic Enhancement team has won funding from the Quality Assurance Agency to lead a collaborative project to enhance equity in student outcomes - in partnership with Glasgow School of Art and Leeds Arts University. Belonging through assessment: Pipelines of compassion’ will look at ways that belonging in the creative HE sector can be enhanced through compassionate assessment.

    Decolonising Archives 2020: Explore the finished research

    Decolonising Archives is an ongoing initiative to introduce critical, decolonial perspectives on the archives and collections held by UAL. Explore the findings of our 2020 cohort of researchers in residence via a rich body of research including short authored e-papers, podcasts and videos.

    Take our research survey exploring audience experiences during lockdown

    UAL researchers have launched a national study exploring how we are engaging with online cultural experiences during lockdown. It is part of the UAL and multi-partner research project 'Digital, Regeneration and Experience Economy modelling' (DREEm:) and responses will play a vital role in supporting the UK's creative, cultural, experience and visitor economies as we leave lockdown.

    Phoenix Perry and the Technology of Connecting

    Phoenix Perry, MSc Creative Computing Course Leader at UAL Creative Computing Institute is known for her work in physical games and embodied experiences. Her new series Bits and Bytes, is a “non-threatening, gentle and playful” video series introduction to creative technology, creators and activism.

    UAL and Knowledge Quarter partners bring EU urban regeneration project to London

    UAL, Camden Council, the Knowledge Quarter, Lendlease and Somers Town Community Association will work with Euston residents on the London pilot for T-factor. The EU project will apply research to build creative and entrepreneurial opportunities for residents into urban regeneration and city planning models.
