The Level 1 Award and Diploma in Art, Design and Media is designed to provide students who are intrigued and motivated by art and design with opportunities to explore, develop and test their creativity.
The Level 2 Award and Diploma in Art & Design provides students with the opportunity to explore the materials, methods and processes that support art and design activities.
The Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Art & Design provides young people with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress to higher education, or into employment.
The Level 3 and 4 Diplomas in Art & Design - Foundation Studies, support students in the transition from general education to specialist art and design education, enabling them to make informed decisions when applying to higher education.
The Level 2 Certificate in Applied Drawing has been designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required in the use and application of drawing across all subjects.
From September 2017, UAL Awarding Body will be running a new Level 3 Applied General Diploma and Extended Diploma in Art & Design. The qualifications are designed to be ‘Applied General’ qualifications that provide post-16 students with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress into further, higher education and training or employment.
