Dr Rebecca Ross

Biography

I am a researcher and a graphic designer. I direct the Graphic Communication Design Programme at Central Saint Martins.

I am currently completing a monograph, Postcode: Addressing humans and machines, under contract with UCL Press. Work in progress from this project has been shared on MediaPolis's Voices podcast as as well as in issue 8 of Bricks from the Kiln Dear reader, dearest reader, our reader, dear friend, dearest dear.

I am also a visiting researcher at the University College London Urban Laboratory and, since 2012, a co-founder and co-editor (with Ben Campkin) of Urban Pamphleteer in collaboration with the Urban Lab. In 2015, I created the digital billboard installation, London is Changing.

I am originally from New York. I have taught and studied at multiple institutions both in the US and the UK.
