Ever considered living and working in the burgeoning creative industries in China? Or perhaps you came to University of the Arts London (UAL) from China and will be returning after graduation?

If so, come along to an evening of workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. You will gain an exclusive insight into the current jobs market in China and what you can start doing now to ensure that you stand out from the crowd.

The format for the evening is in two parts. The first part will consist of workshops which will give you an opportunity to learn more about how to find jobs in China, what Chinese employers are looking for and the issues around accommodation, visas, the culture and the language. By the end of the workshop, you will know how to make yourself more employable within a competitive Chinese market.

The second part of the evening will consist of a keynote lecture from Arnold Ma, CEO of Qumin, and a panel discussion headed up by Oliver Pearce, President of the UAL Shanghai Alumni Association and LCC graduate. The panel will also consist of:

- Jiang Li (Greater Marketing Manager of G-Star RAW)
- Zhe Wang (Founder of London-based knitwear label Knit Planet)
- Di Whu (UX Senior Consultant at UBS)
- Philip Dodd (Director of Made in China)

The evening will conclude with a networking reception, giving you the chance to meet and form connections with key industry figures, who will offer their advice and expertise.

6.00pm - Choose between:
Workshop 1 - (for Chinese students returning to China)
