The UAL Alumni Association hosts events throughout the year; from international group meet ups to creative workshops, panel discussions and opportunities to share knowledge. Here you can find information on upcoming Alumni events around the world.

UAL comes to Shanghai!

Date: Thursday 16 – Saturday 18 April 2026

Location: E.SCAPE, No.3, Lane 40 Wukang Road, Shanghai 200031

Join UAL alumni and recent graduates for a 3-day experience, with the opportunity to learn from industry insiders, refine your portfolio, and celebrate China’s creative scene.

Thursday 16 April: Get your portfolio reviewed by creative experts and join a professional development workshop.

Friday 17 April: Attend a panel event featuring established UAL alumni and creative professionals exploring the current creative industries landscape in Shanghai, followed by a Q&A.

Saturday 18 April: Celebrate and reconnect at the closing alumni party.

Refreshments will be provided across the events.

Monthly networking drinks for enterprising alumni

Date: Thursday 30 April 2026
Time: 6pm–8.30pm

Location: Platform Bar, Central Saint Martins, King's Cross

Join the UAL Enterprising Alumni Network for free networking drinks on the last Thursday of every month.

The meet-up is an opportunity to hear from alumni who are using their entrepreneurial and creative skills to build a better world, find sustainable solutions, and bring something positive to their community or field.

We hope you’ll come along to meet other creatives and hear from inspiring graduates.

Plus ones are welcome!

This event is led by the UAL Enterprising Alumni Network, a dynamic group of graduates leading the way in the creative industries. Members of the association are brand owners, social enterprises, freelancers and CEOs.

How to Have Ideas - a Workshop from the UAL Enterprising Alumni Network

Date: Thursday 14 May 2026
Time: 6pm–8.30pm

Location: Central Saint Martins, King's Cross

Join fellow UAL creatives for an opportunity to explore some of the messy and rewarding tactics behind creativity. Discover creative inputs and new strategies to try next time you’re facing a blank page.

Remember to bring a sketchbook and pencils!

The UAL Enterprising Alumni Network is a dynamic group of graduates leading the way in the creative industries. The association is run by UAL alumni volunteers and organises supportive events throughout the year. These feature inspirational speakers and provide a chance to meet like-minded creatives.
