You Are Here – Open Exhibition at QBE

21 September 2018
12-5pm
QBE Offices,
Fenchurch Street,
EC3M 3BD
Free and open to all – booking essential

A special one off event as part of Everything Happens So Much, London College of Communication’s contribution to London Design Festival 2018, in partnership with QBE.

This year LCC and QBE are offering you the chance to see LCC’s design work in action, by visiting You Are Here, a private exhibition of work created for leading insurance firm QBE. Undergraduate students from LCC's Design School responded to a brief to create work that looks back 50 years into the past and forward 50 years into the future, considering the role insurance plays in all our lives.

Designers have been commissioned to create 3D installations, prints, interactive design and digital moving image. The work has been installed throughout QBE’s reception area and broker’s lounge. Join us for an afternoon to view the results of the collaboration.

“QBE is a specialist business insurer and reinsurer. We’re big enough to make a difference, small enough to be fleet of foot. We may not be the best known, but a large part of the modern world depends on our cover. We have customers as varied as bus and coach fleet operators and major international infrastructure consortiums. For them, we’re the buffer between the best-laid plans and uncertain reality.”
— QBE At a Glance, February 2018

Free and open to all. Booking is essential and access to the exhibition is split into 15 minute slots throughout the day. Spaces for each slot are strictly limited – if you are no longer able to attend please let us know.
