Writing Successful Applications (and a short FAQ on the Mead Awards)

DESCRIPTION

This session is for any UAL student who wants to apply in the future for arts projects funding. Please book your place here.

Session lead by: Hannah Breslin, Employability Practioner (plus Jane D'Aulby on FAQs for Mead Awards)

This session is useful if you are applying for creative opportunities, such as residencies, exhibitions, or collaborations. Or perhaps you want to know what funders look for in an application form?
We will cover how to:

  • Analyse the questions on an application form
  • Structure your answers to write with impact
  • Adding images and other ways of strengthening your proposal
We will work through 5 key steps, which will help you make your case. We will do this through discussion and a series of exercises.
Folllowing this session, you should feel more confident when you apply for funding. You will have some great tips for writing proposals. And will have a better idea of how to make clear and persuasive applications.
At the end of the session, there will be a brief slot for FAQs on how to apply for the Mead Awards.
