Localism and Community Resilience


Does you work link to sustainability, community, localism and resilience? Do you want to take part in a friendly and supportive workshop discussion about your research and that of other PhD students around these themes?

Join Post-Grad Community for a workshop hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Fashion on Tuesday 21 January 2020 (4pm to 6pm).

Prof. Kate Fletcher, design for sustainability and localism expert will be present to discuss ideas with the group of participants. In this session we will address your questions around the theme of Community Resilience and critically review this research framework.

This session is open to all UAL PhD and MPhil students, to take part, email with:

  • name 
  • college
  • research area
  • a description (300 words max) of why you are interested in taking part in this workshop
  • two questions you would like to address in this session

Deadline for applications: Friday 17 January 2020

Places are limited, apply early to avoid disapointment.

This workshop is organised by Post-Grad Community at UAL and is offered as an extra-curricular networking activity for all PhD and MPhil students.
