Saturday 29 September
12-2pm
LCC Studio,
Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre.
Free and open to all.
Please book tickets here.

Join Ashmi Mridul, a graduate from LCC’s BA (Hons) Interaction Design Arts course, for a workshop in fabric jewellery making.

The workshop directly transposes the skills and techniques students utilised working with the artist Sokhna in St. Louis. Utilising two traditional aspects of Senegalese visual culture by fusing the vibrancy of Senegalese fabrics with the intricate craftwork of jewellery making, participants will be able to utilise their unwanted and surplus fabrics, turning them into desired accessories.

Materials are supplied but participants are also asked to bring along any fabrics they would like to use specifically.

Capacity is limited and booking is essential.
