PHOW! Power Hour of Writing (Summer 2025)

  • Date
  • Time
A monthly writing group for UAL colleagues working towards any level of Advance HE Fellowship or undertaking PgCert/MA Academic Practice.

Overview

Join the Power Hour of Writing (PHOW), a monthly writing group for colleagues working towards any level of Advance HE Fellowship or undertaking PgCert/MA Academic Practice.

Give yourself the space, time, encouragement, and support to proactively engage with writing or mapping your application.

Research by Jensen (2017) shows that this type of activity improves accountability, creates positive habits about academic writing, (Sword, 2017; Jensen, 2017) and feelings of isolation can be reduced (Murray, 2015).

So why not make this part of your monthly routine? Join us! All UAL colleagues are welcome.
